The applicant must meet the following eligibility requirements to apply for the WDCAC New Student Scholarship:
- Must be a Washington, DC resident
- Must attend a Washington, DC public, private, or charter high school [1]
- Must be a graduating high school senior in 2026
- Must plan to enroll full-time at an accredited two- or four-year college or university in the fall 2026 semester
- Cannot be an immediate relative (e.g., child) of a Washington DC Alumnae Chapter member.
[1] For purposes of this Application, the term “private school” includes homeschooling located in the District of Columbia that operates, in accordance with, Washington DC Home Schooling Program administered by the DC Office of the State Superintendent of Education.
