2025 Board of Directors Application Form
The Wisconsin EMS Association (WEMSA) is dedicated to serving and advocating for EMS professionals across Wisconsin. Our mission is to support, educate, and empower EMS providers through legislative advocacy, continuing education, and innovative resources.

As a board member, you will have the opportunity to help shape WEMSA’s strategic initiatives, including:
- Strengthening EMS advocacy efforts at the state and national levels.
- Expanding continuing education and professional development opportunities.
- Enhancing EMS agency resources and operational support.
- Increasing public awareness of the importance of EMS in our communities.
We encourage applicants who are passionate about the future of EMS in Wisconsin and eager to contribute their leadership skills to our mission.
Board Member Commitment
As a member of the WEMSA Board of Directors, you will play a vital role in guiding the organization’s strategic direction, advocating for the EMS profession in Wisconsin, and ensuring the sustainability and growth of WEMSA. Board members are expected to:
- Attend quarterly board meetings (virtual or in-person).
- Participate in at least one committee or working group.
- Support WEMSA’s advocacy, membership, and educational initiatives.
- Engage in fundraising and sponsorship efforts where applicable.

- Why you would be an asset on the Board of Directors / what leadership skills you possess.
- Outlines an instance where you succeeded as a leader.
- Highlights your board interests such as advocacy, education, finance, membership, strategic planning, or board development.
- A portrayal of your overall working relationship with other members of the EMS community.
