Our responsibility and support
Wesley Training offer support and reasonable adjustments to students with a variety of conditions or special needs.
The NSW Government via NSW Smart and Skilled provide additional subsidies and concessions to assist students successfully complete their studies.
While Wesley offer support services and reasonable adjustments, students are also assured of their confidentiality and privacy if this is your preference.
Wesley has a dedicated mentor with Cert IV in Mental Health available to offer support to students if required.
This service is here for you. Wesley is sensitive to the needs of our students and you will be invited to reach out, but not required to do so.
Your responsiblities
Please describe your condition below.
We expect, should you have a condition, you continue to manage your treatment alongside your study program with the assistance of Wesley mentors as required.
Government Subsidy
To receive Government subsidy in support of your condition, you will need to provide evidence before study commencement via:
- Disability support pension or Disability Card OR
- Supporting letter or statement addressing your need, from:
- A medical professional (such as family GP or specialist)
- Allied health professional
- including psychologist, physiotherapist, rehab counsellor, speech pathologist, occupational therapist etc
- Government agency, such as Vet Affairs, Centrelink, NSW Tafe counsellor, Job Capacity Assessor, Special Education Counsellor, School Counsellor
