Medical Audio-Transcription Course Guide Request

The Wesley Medical Audio-Transcription Program is a comprehensive 'skill based' program newly developed for Industry by request of Industry and the Australian Government to meet the needs of this specialised role.

Students can apply for studying the Medical Transcription Certification a few ways:

Via studying the Wesley Certificate in Medical Audio-Transcription (6-9 months) - 9 Units of Competency

Via completing one of Wesley's Cert III Qualifications + Medical Transcription Program

Via Wesley Medical Reception Short Course + Wesley's Medical Document Production and Microsoft Word Program + Medical Transcription Program

Free Online 'Real' Work Experience is included in Block 2 for successful students.

NSW - Smart and Skilled - full Qualification BSB30120 plus Medical Audio onlyC3G QLD or BOOST - full Qualification BSB30120 plus Medical Audio onlyOver 40's Skill CheckPoint Funding - Any Wesley Medical Audio-Transcription Package is able to be subsidised up to 75% for eligible students. Students need to be over 40 and either employed or unemployed for no more than 12 mths to qualify. Students also need to be prepared to run some tests, fill out paperwork and meet with the Funding Representative.

Pre-Requisites:

Students must have a minimum of Year 10 Standard of English, Numeracy, Basic Computing Skills and have access to a computer, printer and internet for the duration of the course. A keyboarding skill of 40 wpm is required to be accepted into the program and students must obtain 50 wpm to obtain their Certification.
