Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the Westfield Summer Farmers Market. The Market occurs every Thursday from May 25 to October 5, 2023. There are three volunteer shift options at every Market.

Option One - 2:00 pm - 5:30 pm
Option Two - 5:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Option Three - 2:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Volunteers are welcome to dress casually at the Market. A name tag will be provided for you to wear while volunteering at the event.

We ask that volunteers shop before or after their shift so that we can have your full attention during the Market. The volunteer opportunities are listed below.

Let us know when you are available and where you prefer to lend a hand. You can pick one now and sign up for other shifts later or sign up for multiple shifts now.

While every effort will be made to place you in your desired volunteer position, we may need to shift volunteers to other areas to ensure all duties are adequately covered during the event.

All volunteer shifts will occur at Grand Junction Plaza located at 225 South Union Street, Westfield, IN 46074. When you arrive, please check in at the Market Information Table. The attire for the event is casual. A name tag will be provided to you when you arrive.

When our Staff reaches out to confirm your volunteer participation, we will also provide you with parking information.

Volunteer Roles

Event Entrance Greeter (Count guests as they enter the market. As guests leave the market give them Chamber/DWA/City/Westfield Welcome handouts).Market Ambassador (Welcome guests and help direct them to bathrooms, vendors, shuttle, park amenities. May need to watch vendor booth if they need to use the restroom. May need to ask guests on bikes to park them. May need to ask dogs that are not behaving to leave or wait outside the market area).Market Information Table (Welcome guests to the market. Use click counter to count guests. Answer questions about the market. Handout free swag).Photographer (Capture moments at the market that will be posted on social media and used in future marketing campaigns) Photo credit will be given in social media posts and on DWA website. DWA would own all photos once received from the photographer.Shuttle Driver (Prior to the market you will shuttle vendors from the vendor parking area back to the market. During the market you will shuttle guests from designated parking areas to the market. When the market ends, shuttle vendors back to their vehicles).Social Media Ambassador (Capture video and photos and post to the market's social media. Photo credit will be given in social media posts. DWA would own all photos and posts once received/posted by the ambassador).Vendor Arrival Greeter (Check in vendors and direct them to available parking spaces. Assist with directing vendors to assigned spaces).
