Share Your Expertise. Shape the Future of Graphic Communications.
The Technical Association of the Graphic Arts (TAGA) invites researchers, technologists, and industry professionals to submit abstracts for the TAGA NextGen 2027 Annual Technical Conference.
For more than 75 years, TAGA has served as a premier platform for publishing and presenting scientific and technical advancements in the graphic communications industry. Today, that mission continues, bringing together the latest research, practical innovation, and emerging talent shaping the future of print and packaging.
Whether you are advancing new scientific understanding or solving real-world production challenges, TAGA provides a unique opportunity to share your work with a global audience of industry leaders, innovators, and researchers.
TAGA seeks submissions that contribute to advancing graphic communications through both innovation and application.
Strong submissions typically include:
- Solutions to real-world production or workflow challenges
- Data-driven research or measurable results
- Case studies, trials, or applied innovations
- Practical insights, lessons learned, or best practices
Submissions may range from emerging research to applied industry work. Both are essential to advancing the industry and both are welcome.
Authors are invited to submit abstracts under one of the following categories:
Research Frontiers
Papers that explore emerging science, technology, and applications in graphic communications. These submissions typically focus on advancing theoretical understanding or introducing new methods, materials, or technologies. Authors of these submissions will provide a written paper for inclusion in the 2027 TAGA Proceedings.
Technology in Action
Papers that address current industry challenges, practical applications, and real-world implementations. These submissions focus on applied solutions, operational improvements, and best practices. No written paper is required.
All presentations are in person by one of the authors at the TAGA NextGen Conference, March 15-18, 2027 in Cincinnati, OH, USA.
The deadline for abstracts is September 18th, 2026. The TAGA papers committee will review the submissions and get back to you during October 2026.
Please include paper abstract documents and any supporting images.
Authors can only present a maximum of two papers during the conference. It is not an issue for authors to be named on more than two papers.
