The Wheaton College Alumni Association invites full-time Associate Lecturers, Senior Lecturers and non-tenured Assistant and Associate faculty members to apply for the Alumni Junior Faculty Development grant. The final decision on all applications will be made by the Alumni Association Board of Directors.
Additional work responsibilities include (but are not limited to) Wheaton-in programs, consulting, and teaching summer courses – in short, any form of employment that would not be recognized as productive scholarship. Awardees ARE allowed to earn extra income when it relates directly to their scholarly productivity (e.g., an honorarium for a speaking engagement related to the awardee's scholarly expertise, a stipend for mentoring when the mentee is participating in the awardee's research, an honorarium for writing a book chapter or encyclopedia article, royalty advances on a book project, etc.).
The faculty of Wheaton College have been the beneficiaries of the extraordinary generosity of the Wheaton College Alumni Association for many years, and we owe them a debt of gratitude!
