Dog Foster Application & Contract Agreement
Thank you for your interest in fostering a rescue dog! As a foster, you create a safe, loving environment for your foster dog until we find them a perfect forever home. We will provide you with all necessary supplies, including food and a crate for the dog.

We ask that our fosters assist with transportation to all required vetting appointments. Our vetting can be done at any Texas Coalition for Animal Protection (TCAP) clinic.

The best part is that our fosters get the right of first refusal to adopt their foster dog! That's why fostering is the best way to see if a dog is a perfect fit for your family before you commit furever!

The application typically takes fewer than ten minutes to complete. However, we request photos and videos of your property (the yard, the fenceline, and where the dog will sleep). Please complete this form while you are at home.

The last step of our screening process is a brief virtual home check.

Please send a short video of your fenced yard capturing the entire perimeter of the fence. (We just want to ensure the yard is secure so your new pup can't get loose!)

Apartment dwellers may substitute a video of where the dog will get daily exercise. (dog park, walking path...)

Next, upload a picture of the main room where your family spends time together. We are looking for a good match between the living space and the mature size of the dog.

Lastly, we would like to see where the dog will sleep.

Foster Agreement
I agree that I will provide two-weeks notice before returning the dog(s) to White Rock Dog Rescue if I'm unable to foster the dog(s) anymore. *
I understand that I will NOT be reimbursed for any costs associated with my foster dog unless the costs are pre-approved through written approval by White Rock Dog Rescue.*
I understand that my foster dog(s) are the sole property of White Rock Dog Rescue, and I will not give away, re-home or abandon the foster dog(s) in my care. Furthermore, I understand that White Rock Dog Rescue may remove any foster dog(s) from my care without notice. *
I understand that by submitting this form electronically, I accept full responsibility for the dog(s) actions at all times, and I agree to release and covenant to hold harmless White Rock Dog Rescue and it's members from any claims, damages, costs, or actions incurred because of the care or actions of the foster dog. *
RELEASE & INDEMNITY

Release: The FOSTER agrees to accept responsibility of the Dog at the foster's own risk. The foster, and the foster's spouse, heirs, executors, personal representatives and assignees, agrees never to bring a claim or suit against White Rock Dog Rescue. The foster releases White Rock Dog Rescue and its directors, founders, employees, officers, agents, representatives, contractors, volunteers, successors and assigns from all liability arising from the fostering or behavior of the Dog. The foster understands that this agreement discharges White Rock Dog Rescue and its directors, founders, employees, officers, agents, representatives, contractors, volunteers, successors and assigns from any liability to the foster and the foster's spouse, heirs executors, and assignees, with respect to bodily injury, personal injury, illness, amputation, scarring, death, property damage or other loss that may result from the fostering or behavior or activities of the Dog. The foster releases White Rock Dog Rescue and discharges White Rock Dog Rescue and its directors, founders, employees, officers, agents, representatives, contractors, volunteers, successors and assigns from any liability for White Rock Dog Rescue's own negligence or liability that may result in bodily injury, personal injury, illness, amputation, scarring, death, property damage or other loss to the foster.

Indemnity: The foster, and the foster's spouse, heirs, executors, personal representatives, and assignees, agrees to indemnify and hold White Rock Dog Rescue harmless for all bodily injury, personal injury, illness, amputation, scarring, death, property damage or other losses, including attorney’s fees and costs of litigation, that result to anyone else or any other entity because of the foster's negligence or liability. This includes lone acts or omissions by the foster as well as the combined acts of the foster with others.
