At Whitethread, we have a thorough application procedure in place to assess the dedication and capability of prospective students applying for the Ifta’ Specialisation Program, whether it's the full 2-year program or the part-time option spanning 3-4 years. Although applying for the course is free, there will be a nominal fee of £15 before the written exam to facilitate the administrative process and signify your commitment to the application.
Please note that this fee is non-refundable.
Application Process
Every applicant is required to undergo a written exam, oral assessment and an interview, all of which will be conducted online.
Written Exam: Arabic texts must be translated and explained. This will evaluate the applicant’s reading, comprehension, and translation skills, with emphasis on the quality, thoroughness, and relevance of footnotes.
Oral Assessment: A test on a random segment from Marghinani’s Hidaya evaluating the applicant's understanding of juridical language and its implications.
Interview: A discussion with the teacher(s) to assess the applicants suitability for the program.
