Tribal Wisdom Academy is locally owned since 2014.

We look forward to hearing from you today.
- It's Day Camp! So no overnights and no required weekends.
- Except the paid Staff Training is on the weekend of June 6 - 7 if you can make it.
- Apply to work up to 10 weeks, June 8 to August 14, 2026.
- The 2026 base-pay is $22 per hour. And returning staff get an automatic $2 raise. Top pay is $28/hr.
- This fun job is 30 to 40 hours per week. Earn potentially $6,500 to over $11,000 every summer!
- Located in the cool California coastal mountains just 10-minutes from the town of Los Gatos, and 25-minutes to the beach.
- After work hit the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk with staff friends.
- Join our awesome team of 20 adult staff each summer.
- If hired, you will receive an Employment Agreement and Handbook with the final details on employment and wages.

I want to work the whole epic 10-weeks of SUMMER DAYCAMP, Mon-Fri, June 8 to August 14, 2026.or I can only work the first 9-weeks, June 8 through August 7.or I can only work the last 9-weeks, June 15 through August 14.I am ALSO available for the June 6-7 (Saturday-Sunday) Staff Training.I am ALSO available to work during May 2026, before summer camp starts.I might ALSO be available to work for a week or more after summer camp, beginning August 17, to help prepare the camp for winter.Other
Day Camp Counselor ("Mentor"), $22/hour.And you can additionally apply now to be a "Camp Activity Specialist", paid $23 to $26/hour. (A regular Mentor can also be promoted to an Activity Specialist position, after proving themselves during the beginning of the summer). Get trained as a Blacksmith, Treehouse Construction Mentor, or wooden sword "Master Crafter" if you have experience with power tools. Or as a Target Range Master for archery, tomahawks, BB guns, and other experiences in target sports.Staff Support Director, with previous TWA Camp experience. $28 per hour. Guide staff (and kids with issues) in being happy and safe. Must qualify as a shuttle van driver, if needed.Paid Teen Apprentice (if age 17 during summer) at the current California State wage. Best if you were a Tribal Camper for several years.Instead of the above jobs, I am only available for a day or two per week. So see the below two options:SATURDAYS only: Maintenance Assistant, 4 hours per Saturday at $20 to $25/hr.WEDNESDAYS and THURSDAY only, June 8 through August 14, 2026.
