This is a timed inflatable costume obstacle course. Participants will navigate a course on a closed downtown city street, completing a variety of obstacles such as running, crawling, jumping, weaving and more. Fastest times win bragging rights and prizes!

1. Participants must wear an inflatable costume for the race. The bigger and sillier, the better!
2. Participants must follow the course and instructions given by race officials and volunteers.
3. No pushing, shoving, blocking, or intentionally interfering with another participant.
4. Participants must remain in control of their costume and may be stopped if the costume creates an unsafe situation.
5. The course is intended to be fun and competitive. Race officials may disqualify a participant for unsafe or unsportsmanlike behavior.
6. The participant with the fastest official time will be the winner. Race officials' timing and decisions are final.

I understand that participation in the Bear City Blow-Up Race involves physical activity and may include running, crawling, jumping, weaving, uneven surfaces, obstacles, falls, collisions and other risks. I voluntarily choose to participate and assume responsibility for my participation. I certify that I am physically able to participate and will follow all safety instructions provided by race officials and volunteers. I agree to release and hold harmless the Willow Springs Chamber of Commerce, Bear City Fall Festival organizers, the City of Willow Springs, volunteers, sponsors and their representatives from claims arising from my participation. I understand that I participate at my own risk. Participant (defined to include the participant and their legal guardians or representatives including successors, assigns, and heirs) hereby forever, completely, totally and unconditionally fully and finally releases and forever discharges the Willow Springs Chamber of Commerce, and their respective legal representatives, agents, affiliates, attorneys, other representatives, employees, officers, board members, volunteers, members, donors, successors and assigns, and all other persons, firms or entities liable or who may be claimed to be liable in any manner on their behalf (collectively "Released Parties"), of and from all manner of claims, demands, damages, actions, cause of action, suits, debts, losses, sums of money, injuries, costs and expenses (including but not limited to attorneys' fees), judgments, executions of any kind, character or nature whatsoever, at law or in equity, past, present or future, whether known or unknown, suspected or unsuspected, in contract or in tort, whether liability be direct or indirect, liquidated or unliquidated, whether presently accrued or to accrue hereafter, whether absolute or contingent, foreseen or unforeseen, and whether or not heretofore asserted, ("Released Claims") for and on behalf of, or as a result of, any act, omission, communication, transactions, occurrence, representation, promises, damage, breach of contract, fraud, violation of any statute, or law, commission of any tort, or any other matter whatsoever or thing done, omitted or suffered to be done by the Released Parties, which Participant ever had, now has, or may have in the future, against the Released Parties, for or by reason of any matter, cause or thing whatsoever occurring in relation to Participant's entry and participation in the Bear City Blow-Up (the Race), including, but not limited to, any matter, cause or thing relating to, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, or arising from: (i) the Race and any condition related thereto; (ii) the Bear City Fall Festival; (iii) the business and personal dealings among the Released Parties and the Participant, and all other documents, things, instruments, transactions and dealings arising therefrom; and (iv) the negotiation and execution of this Release. This Release may be pleaded as a complete bar and defense to the Released Claims and any future claim or action, in the nature of the claims described herein, which the Released Parties may hereafter assert against Participant. In the event any of the claims which are released by this Release asserted by Participant against the Released Parties, the Released

Parties may look to the Participant for indemnification, defense and reimbursement of and for all costs, expenses and attorneys' fees incurred by the Released Parties by reason of the assertion by the Participant of a claim which is released by this Release. Participant agrees that they shall indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against the Released Claims including without limitation any and all claims, liability, losses, causes of action, penalties, damages, expenses and judgments of any kind or nature whatsoever, including reasonable attorney's fees, for injuries or accidents to persons or property, in connection with Participant's participation in the Race or otherwise, including without limitation any liability that may occur as a result of Released Parties' responsibilities related to the Race

PHOTO RELEASE: I grant permission for photographs or video taken during the event to be used by the Willow Springs Chamber of Commerce and Bear City Fall Festival for promotional purposes.
