JGS Equipment Grant Application

This grant initiative is to support New York City Department of Education schools in purchasing equipment to enhance or expand programming in photography as part of in-class or afterschool visual arts activities. Successful grantees will be awarded $5,000 towards the purchase of cameras, lenses, computers, studio lighting equipment and software. This grant will be facilitated by The NYCPS ARTS Office and The Fund for Public Schools.

If you were awarded a grant in the previous academic year, please wait one year before reapplying. JGS will not award grants to the same school in two consecutive years.

Grants are awarded in $5,000 increments. Please use the budget template to submit expenses as close to $5000 as possible. Requests above $5,000 will not be considered.
