Midnight Spies
Born in the outskirts of Houston TX, Midnight Spies strive to bring the eccentricities of new wave and modern pop into their hometown. Formed by bassist/vocalist MatthewNewton and guitarist/producer Julian Martinez, the duo started writing and producing under the name Midnight Spies during the depths of 2020.
Their latest single, "The Owl Sees All", was written after the band played their first few shows. Inspired by the impostor syndrome that appeared once they hit the spotlight, it became a challenge to write a song that captured the nothingness of those feelings, and top what had been written previously to prove those feelings wrong.
Their EP, "In This House", delves into the newfound freedom of being an young adult, making friends, discovering new places, and learning where your home really is.
Nu Shop
NuShop brings together soaring melodies, groovy rhythms, and heavy breakdowns to form a sound uniquely and distinctly our own. With inspirations such as M83, A7X, andall things pop. The band formed by the minds of Mike and Ike and completed with the artistry of Jonathan, An, Damani, Eric, and Justice, all bring a live experience like no other. moseph
moseph is the solo project of Ethiopian-American artist Mohammed Numan. moseph has been releasing music since late 2021, blending a style of DIY bedroom pop withmore alt-rock/psychedelic influences. Most of the recording is done by Mohammed or his bassist/guitarist and best friend, Hayes Howard. Joining moseph for mostperformances is rapper and long time collaborator Young Wabo. Their sets usually consist of moseph’s solo work along with recreations of Wabo’s songs with a live band.
