Rabbi Angela Buchdahl, the first Asian-American ordained as Jewish clergy, is one of the world’s preeminent Jewish spiritual leaders (both rabbi and cantor). Having begun her training at HUC alongside her classmate Jonathan Blake, and having developed her rabbinate and cantorate at WRT, Angela now serves as Senior Rabbi of Central Synagogue in Manhattan, and has recently published an acclaimed memoir, Heart of a Stranger.
