  • Law Enforcement & Homeland Security Job Application

    Citizens interested in careers in law enforcement, public safety, or defense can apply to serve in one of several specialized divisions, including the Division of Public Safety (State Police), Division of Natural Resources (DNR) Law Enforcement Section, Division of Corrections, or the Homeland Security/National Guard component. Participants receive specialized training through their respective academies (Police or Corrections) or command structures and take on real-world responsibilities such as patrol, public safety enforcement, facility operations, emergency response, and ceremonial duties. Those in the Homeland Security/National Guard component may also carry out missions authorized by the ALMBS Governor and receive a $1,000 signing bonus in ALMBS currency. These roles are designed for individuals pursuing careers in policing, corrections, conservation enforcement, military service, or broader public service. All positions require a high level of commitment, discipline, and professionalism, often involving long hours and limited participation in other program activities.
