  • NURTURING HEARTS SCHOLARSHIP

    The Yinka Badejo Nurturing Hearts scholarship provides educational assistance to young females (between ages 18 - 28) who have a keen interest in children’s ministry work. This scholarship is renewable for up to a maximum of one time. 

    If you are not an eligible FEMALE BETWEEN AGES 18 - 28, please DO NOT fill or submit an application for this scholarship.

  • Dear Applicant,

    Please read the eligibility requirements before attempting to complete this scholarship application. Please note that providing false information in any part of this application form would lead to disqualification from being considered for this specific scholarship and/or any other scholarship offered by the Wilson & Yinka Badejo Foundation now and/or in the future. If selected, you will be asked for documentation to support the data you provide. Likewise, all correspondence and award agreements will be generated from the personal information submitted below. So, please use proper spelling, capitalization and punctuation.

    See below for eligibility requirements for the NURTURING HEARTS SCHOLARSHIP:

    1. You must be a resident of Nigeria
    2. You must meet the age and gender requirements (i.e. a female between ages 18 - 28)
    3. You must be pursuing a degree, vocational training, and/or actively seeking professional development in an area directly related to children’s ministry
    4. You must possess a strong and verifiable good character.

    Notes:

    • Applicants do not exclusivey have to be student; however, any applicant interested in applying for this scholarship may still be subject to the basic eligibility requirements to be considered for a scholarship offered by WYBF's Educational Support Programme. 
    • Applicants will be expected to provide two letters of recommendation from a cleric, mentor, professor, and/or counsellor in support of their application attesting to their personal character and demonstrated passion for working with children and/or in children’s ministry
    • The scholarship board of the Wilson & Yinka Badejo Foundation reserves the right to modify or waive parts of the eligibility requirements for this scholarship award based on discretion, relevant considerations, and/or as justifiably deemed fit
