WHAT IS iSTAND CONFERENCE?
iSTAND Conference is a Catholic youth retreat coordinated by Youth Mission Team.
The conference is open to students in years 8-12 looking for a chance to go deeper in faith, connect with like-minded young people, and spend time thinking and learning about the questions that really matter. You can expect powerful talks and testimonies, prayer, live music, great food, and plenty of opportunities to connect with other people through games, team-building and fellowship.
This term's conference theme is STEADFAST - over the course of the two days, we'll break open St Paul's Letter to the Philippians. Paul speaks to the Philippians - and to us - about God's faithfulness, the truth that we can trust him. As we dive in, we'll ask: how does Paul's advice for the early Church apply to us now? What can our modern community of believers learn from our history? And most importantly, what does God want to speak to me through His word?
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
- When: Wednesday 23rd & Thursday 24th September 2026, from 10.30am to 8.30pm each day
- Where: St Timothy's Parish Hall, 17 Stevens Rd, Vermont VIC 3133
- Cost: $110 registration, inclusive of all food and activities
- What to bring: Water bottle, journal, clothes appropriate for physical activities, warm clothes for the evening
This term's conference is NOT a live-in event; we will wrap up our final session of each day by 8.30pm and expect participants to come to and leave from the venue each day.
