The Summer Art Program for Children is organized and run by the Yorktown Arts Foundation as a part of our mission. The classes are free to any child under the age of 17.
Permission to take photos: We will be taking photographs of our classes and workshops to capture the moments and promote our classes. By taking a class with Yorktown Arts Foundation (YAF), you agree to give permission to YAF to take photos of you or your child for promotional use on our website, social media, brochures or other marketing materials. We will not identify you or your children by name.
Behavior: Class sizes are limited to provide proper supervision and professional instruction to all participants. It is the responsibility of the participant to be on their best behavior during class. Unacceptable behavior will not be tolerated. Parents will be contacted concerning misconduct of children. Repeated and/or flagrant incidents will result in expulsion from the class, and no refund will be given.
Deposit: Although all Summer Art Program classes are free, we do request a $10 deposit per student for each class to hold your spot. It will be returned when your child attends class. You may pay by cash, check or credit card. Checks are payable to the Yorktown Arts Foundation, PO BOX 657, 402 Main Street, Yorktown, VA 23690. Credit Cards are accepted by walk-in only at On the Hill Gallery, 402 Main street, Yorktown, VA.
Refunds: A refund or credit of your deposit will be given only in cases of emergency at the discretion of YAF representatives, or if class is cancelled due to lack of participation. If the student cancels for a non-emergency reason less than 7 days prior to the class all deposits will be forfeited.
