1. Booking & Retainer
A signed contract and a $60 non refundable retainer are required to secure your session date and time. The retainer will be applied toward the total balance of the session.
No date will be held until both the signed agreement and retainer payment have been received.
The remaining balance is due on or before the day of the session unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
2. Cancellation & Rescheduling
The $60 retainer is non refundable under any circumstance.
If the Client cancels the session, all payments made beyond the retainer may be refunded at Photographer discretion.
One reschedule may be permitted due to weather, emergencies, or unforeseen circumstances if agreed upon by both parties. Rescheduled sessions must take place within 60 days of the original session date.
If the Photographer must cancel due to illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond control, the Client will receive the option to reschedule or receive a full refund including the retainer.
3. Photography Coverage
Photographer will provide photography services for the agreed upon session or event.
While every reasonable effort will be made to capture all requested moments, Photographer cannot guarantee specific poses, images, locations, or outcomes.
The Client understands that photography is a creative service and final editing style, image selection, and artistic direction remain at the discretion of the Photographer.
4. Image Delivery
Edited images will be delivered through an online gallery.
Typical turnaround time is approximately 7-14 business days unless otherwise discussed.
Raw, unedited images will not be delivered.
The Client is responsible for downloading and backing up images upon delivery.
5. Late Arrivals
Client understands that late arrival may reduce shooting time.
If the Client is more than 15 minutes late without communication, the Photographer reserves the right to cancel the session without refund.
6. Weather & Outdoor Sessions
Outdoor sessions may be rescheduled due to unsafe weather conditions including heavy rain, lightning, hurricanes, or dangerous winds.
Cloudy conditions, light wind, or mild weather changes do not automatically qualify for rescheduling.
7. Copyright & Usage
All images remain the intellectual property and copyright of YRA Photography.
The Client receives personal use rights for printing, sharing, and posting images online.
The Client may not sell, alter, heavily filter, or edit the images without written permission from the Photographer.
YRA Photography may use images from the session for portfolio, website, social media, advertising, marketing, competitions, and promotional purposes unless otherwise requested in writing by the Client before the session.
8. Model Release
The Client grants YRA Photography permission to photograph all participating individuals during the session and to use the resulting images for lawful promotional and portfolio purposes.
If the Client does not wish for images to be shared publicly, written notice must be provided before the session date.
9. Liability
Photographer will take the utmost care with respect to exposure, transportation, and processing of photographs.
However, in the unlikely event that photographs are lost, stolen, damaged, or destroyed due to equipment malfunction, memory card failure, acts of God, or circumstances beyond Photographer control, liability is limited to the return of payments received.
Photographer is not responsible for compromised coverage due to lateness, interference from guests, weather conditions, venue restrictions, poor cooperation from participants, or uncontrollable lighting conditions.
10. Safety
Photographer reserves the right to end coverage immediately if placed in unsafe, threatening, illegal, or excessively hostile conditions.
No refund will be issued in such circumstances.
11. Agreement
By signing below, both parties acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined in this Agreement.
