Knowing the risks involved and in voluntary consideration of being permitted to participate in the 2025 Navajo Nation Fair Parade, I agree to and hereby release, indemnify, and defend the Navajo Nation, Navajo Nation Fair, Division of Natural Resources and their officials, employers, agents, volunteers and sponsors and against any and all claims which I or any other person may have for any losses or injuries including the risks of serious bodily injury or death arising out of or in connection with the Navajo Nation Parade.

Parade will begin at 8:00 a.m. (DST)

Line-up will begin at 5:00 a.m. (DST) and will start at Tse Bonito, New Mexico.

Parade Route is 4 miles long (estimated), starting at Tse Bonito, NM traveling north, and ends at St. Michael's, AZ
-
Entries will disassemble at St. Micheals Intersection/Route 112.

The first twenty-five Parade spots are reserved for Grand Marshall, Tribal Dignitaries, and Sponsors.

Non-motorized PARADE ENTRY may consist of the following: wagons, walkers, marching bands, horseback riders, etc.

Motorized PARADE ENTRY consists of a vehicle with a gas/diesel-powered engine. Only ONE vehicle will be allowed per entry/float.

One PARADE ENTRY is defined as one royalty, one politician, one band, one organization with ten limited walkers. Contact the parade coordinator for clarity.

Each PARADE ENTRY will be assigned a number for judging; please do not lose your number. No additional numbers will be given out. If you lose your number, you will forfeit your assigned space and will be placed at the end of the parade line-up.

PARADE ENTRY must maintain a distance of no less than 20 feet and no more than 40 feet. Please keep gaps from occurring.
SAFETY

All applicable Navajo Nation Laws will be enforced. The Navajo Nation is not liable for any injuries resulting from participation in the parade. Law Enforcement and Security personnel will be on site throughout the parade.

PARADE ENTRY Vehicle & floats will be subject to inspection by the Navajo Nation Fire Department, Office of Environmental Health, and/ or the Navajo Nation Safety/ Loss Control Program to ensure compliance.

PARADE ENTRANTS are responsible for their own water, first-aid, and meals.

Items being tossed to the public must be thrown at a safe distance away from the vehicle, float & tires. Promotional items, fruit, and larger giveaways must be distributed by walkers at least 5 to 10 feet away from the vehicle/float.

PARADE ENTRY is required to have a current, up-to-date, 10 lb. fire extinguisher onboard.
HORSEBACK RIDERS - All parade participants utilizing livestock are required to have Health Certificates and current Coggins and valid livestock transport permits.
VEHICLE INSURANCE - Entries must provide valid automobile insurance documents, a valid driver's license, and an applicable permit to ensure a compliant vehicle.
