· You must be at least 18 years of age to get a tattoo. It is against New York State law (Section 260.21) to tattoo a minor, even with parental consent. In accordance with this law, we have a strict No Minors policy. Not only must you be 18, you have to prove it with a valid State or Federal Photo ID. No exceptions.
· No one under 18 is allowed in the studio.
· If you are traveling to New York and planning to pay with your card, keep in mind that sometimes banks freeze larger transactions. Please have backup payment options (cash, another card(s))
· To book an appointment you need to leave a deposit according to the artist's rate.
· All Deposits are non-refundable and nontransferable. After you make the deposit, the artist begins work on your personalized design and prepares for the session. Such preparation can take from 2 to 48 hours depending on the complexity of your project
· The shop requires at least 72 hours notice to make any changes to your appointment. Failure to provide 72 hours notice will result in forfeiture of your deposit. If you cancel or do not show up for your appointment, your deposit will be forfeited. If you need to reschedule your appointment you may transfer your deposit over ONE time, as long as you give more than 72 hours notice. If you cannot make it to your rescheduled appointment your deposit will be forfeited and you will need a new deposit to book again.
· If you are running late to your appointment, please let your artist know. If you do not let your artist know, 30 minutes late is considered a no-call-no-show and your deposit will be forfeited. If you are a no-call-no-show for a touch-up appointment (which we do not take deposits for), you will need to reschedule your touch-up appointment and pay the artists' hourly rate for your touch-up.
· Your deposit will be held as security throughout the duration of your tattoo. If your tattoo requires multiple sessions, the deposit will be held until the final session.
· An appointment can de be rescheduled no later than 6 months after the initial deposit. If the appointment is not rescheduled by then, the deposit is automatically forfeited.
· Your tattoo design will be based on the information that you sent to the artist before booking the appointment and your reference material and not an exact replication as all of our artists provide original artwork.
· The artwork will be shown on the day of your appointment. Appointments are made based on the originally requested design. Minor changes can be made on the day of the appointment. If drastic changes are requested that require re-drawing of the whole design or a bigger part of it, it is considered to be a separate project and another deposit is required.
· In case of an emergency, your appointment can be postponed to the first available at the time opening that is convenient for both an artist and a client.
· The artist can stop your session and schedule a second one if in her (his) opinion it's the best thing to do at the moment (time constraint, client's pain tolerance, changing design size).
· The second session can be scheduled only the very next day or after the tattoo is fully healed.
· If you are not local please take this into consideration when you make an appointment.
· Make sure you don't have a vacation planned (that involves swimming and sunbathing) at least 3 weeks after your appointment.
· Avoid drinking alcohol 24 hours prior to Tattooing. If you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs we will ask you to leave and the deposit will be forfeited.

· Avoid anything that thins blood 48 hours prior to your appointment (advil, alcohol, certain medications)
· A release form will be provided for you, this will ask you if you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs of any kind or pregnant. These are the main reasons for a tattoo to be refused. By signing our release form you have legally signed to say you don’t have any problems regarding your health.
· Avoid sun tanning and tanning beds. Get a good night's sleep prior to your appointment. The healthier you are before your session, the easier it will be for you and the artist to complete your session.
· If you have any type of skin diseases or scars a doctor's note is required confirming that tattooing is not dangerous for your health.
