Puppy Class - CLASS AT DGS$225.00

COMPLETE 4 WEEK PUPPY COURSE. Also now offering single session puppy class workshops, see link above. In this 4 week puppy class we will learn about your puppy’s developmental stages while your pup socializes in a safe supervised environment. We will cover housebreaking, mouthing/chewing, jumping, biting/nipping, manners & greetings, setting a routine, barking, nutrition, bond building exercises and ALL YOUR PUPPY QUESTIONS ANSWERED! A well-trained dog is a joy to be around, all it takes is a little know-how and consistency, so let's get started!

Foundation 1 - CLASS AT DGS$300.00

Full Course for Obedience and Manners Level 1 (Pups 16 weeks and older) Foundation I is a first obedience and manners course for dogs of all ages. We will teach and implement good leadership skills to build a positive relationship with accountability. Your dog will learn Sit, and Down reliably, and a responsive recall. Polite leash walking on leash, and greetings with household manners are covered. Stopping Unwanted behaviors such as jumping, and excessive barking will be reviewed in detail. The class environment is great for practice and support. We teach you how to become a loving and effective leader and how to set your pup up for success as a part of your family and community, both inside and outside the home.

Foundation 2-CLASS AT DGS$300.00

Full Course for Obedience and Manners Level 2 (Pre-Requisite Foundation 1) In this next more advanced level part two of Foundation Obedience, we tackle building reliability of commands with Distance, Duration, and Distraction. The Sit-Stay and Down-Stay are perfected, Go to your Bed and Calm, Coming when Called in an Emergency, Staying Back from the Door when Guests come, perfecting Leash-walking, Stopping More Unwanted Behaviors, Teenage Tune-up, all your Q & A and more!

FOUNDATION 2 Please Select 6 Week Class

Canine Good Citizen-CGC CLASS AT DGS$300.00

After completing Foundation Parts 1 & 2, your dog is ready to prep to be a Canine Good Citizen! Prepare your dog to receive certification from the AKC by passing the Canine Good Citizen test!

INTRO TO AGILITY$300.00

Prerequisites for Intro to Agility: We require 2 levels of Foundation classes or equivalent before coming into an Agility class. Dogs need to be able to focus on their handler in a room with other dogs present and moving around, and have all the basics - Sit, Down, Wait/Stay, Watch Me, Come and walking on a leash without pulling. Dogs also must be under control on a harness or flat collar. Other requirements: Dogs must be comfortable and non reactive towards strangers and other dogs. If your dog should go into heat she will be unable to continue the session so be mindful of timing as there are no refunds as space is extremely limited. Please look at the dates carefully, as the first 4 weeks are mandatory attendance dedicated to learning the obstacles and equipment in order. 6 Weeks, Tuesdays at 2:15PM 4/14, 4/21, 4/28, 5/5, 5/12, 5/19

THERAPY DOG SKILLS CLASS$300.00

6 Week THURSDAY @ 2:15pm-3:15pm 4/9, 4/16, 4/23, 4/30. 5/7, 5/14 Therapy Dog Skills Class will help prepare you and your dog to be tested as a potential pet therapy team. We will cover specific test items on the Pet Partners Skills & Aptitude Tests, along with helping to acclimate your dog to wheelchairs, crutches and walkers. You will also learn what to do when visiting and how to recognize signs of stress in your dog and ways to support your dog. PREREQUISITES: Your dog must know how to Sit and Down and have a reliable Stay and Recall (Come). Dogs must also have a nice temperament and enjoy meeting new people and being petted. Successful completion of Foundation 2 or Canine Good Citizen (CGC) class is required. Dogs over 9 months old are welcome but cannot be tested until they are 1 year old.

Thursday 6 Week Class

RALLY-OBEDIENCE$340.00

TUESDAYS 4:30-5:30PM 3/31, 4/7, 4/21, 4/28, 5/5, 5/12 SIX WEEK COURSE(single session sign ups available) Rally focuses on the teamwork between dogs and their human. You and your dog navigate, side- by-side, through a course of 10-20 different signs. The signs indicate a skill for your dog to perform, like sit or down. You and your dog move continuously throughout the course with a clear sense of teamwork. Rally is about working happily together while performing the necessary skills. Sabine is committed to positive, force-free training that is enjoyable for both ends of the leash and forms a strong, trusting bond between dog and handler. Class Protocol (Please agree to Terms and Conditions Below):

We will have a max of 9 dogs per class enrolled.
Class Registration is Online Only via this Secure Portal. (front desk registration not available at this time.)
Only 2 family members may attend Class per dog (must be adult 18 or older). For Therapy Class, only 1 person, the handler (must be adult 18 or older) may attend class.
All students & instructors know your own health risks. Please continue to wear a mask in the facility if you feel your situation warrants it.
Please do not attend if you have any illness, even if you are not running a fever.

Due to class size limititations once the class has 9 dogs it will close and there will be no refunds. In extenuating circumstances where you can not continue, we will work with you to apply any balance to our other training services or future class options. In-person make ups may not be allowed for missed classes if other classes are at capacity. We will do our best to get you caught up with any missed instruction.

For Training Make-Up & Refund Policies: We are not able to offer refunds or pro-rate for missed classes, but we will be happy to provide you with the written materials and allow you to make it up an another session if space permits. If you need to switch out of your reserved class into a different session, a full registration charge may be incurred as space is limited.
