Zeiss Otus ZF.2 - Learn More
Top-tier optics from Zeiss - The Otus ZF.2 lenses feature a fully manual focus and iris movement. The aperture ring features a locking mechanism that is automatically engaged at full close. When using an Otus ZF.2 lens on a modern Nikon body, the aperture must still be locked at full close, even with the de-click modification. This lock can be troublesome for operators using any motors that require a calibration run from min to max. In this case, the aperture lock can be disabled upon request at no additional charge. The EF Mount Conversion allows these full frame lenses to be used on any Canon EF Mount camera body. However, the mount conversion is passive and will not communicate metadata to or from the camera.
The Enhanced Focus Scale upgrade is a unique solution that brings the Zeiss Otus lenses one step closer to cinema-grade primes. It features an integrated, seamless gear and highly visible focus distance marks which make focus pulling much easier than with the factory focus scale. A new witness mark is engraved in the operator positon.
