**In order to be considered for the OAT Resource Bundle, you must first complete the Eye-CARE Summer Camp RSVP**
Thank you for your interest in a free OAT examination resource bundle, including one OATBooster study preparation course AND one $250 reimbursement waiver to cover half of the OAT examination cost under our Eye-Care Summer Camp Program (in partnership with VSP and Booster Prep, Inc.). All applications must be submitted online. Please follow the instructions carefully and note that only eligible students will be considered for a resource package.
Important: This application is only for the OAT Resource Bundle and NOT for general camp participation.
Eligibility: If you are seeking both general camp participation AND an OAT resource bundle, then you must submit an application, identify as an underrepresented in optometry (URiO) individual (including students from low-income backgrounds (based on federal guidelines) and first generation college students) and be actively pursuing an optometric degree. Open to nationwide candidates. Although not required, consideration will be given to those who have an interest in serving the New York region and state.
The package is only available to prospective optometry applicants who plan to take the OAT toward the upcoming application cycle occurring between July 1, 2025 – March 1, 2026. Although the OAT Resource Bundle is limited and competitive, we encourage all eligible individuals to apply. If you are not awarded a sponsorship package, then you are still eligible to attend the summer camp and we look forward to hybrid engagement with you.
Brief Application and Application Deadline: Please complete the below brief application by the end of Sunday, June 1st for consideration toward the OAT Resource Bundle. Applicants can expect to hear back with next steps no later than mid-June (if sponsored).
