Self Collection will be at Sinnhuber Aquatic Research Laboratory located at 28645 E Hwy 34, Corvallis, OR 97333. Do not arrive unless you receive a confirmation. Orders less than 72 hours notice will not be fulfilled.
The building is locked at all times. Please select a date and time to ensure we will have your order ready by then. Do not proceed without a confirmation email from the ZBR.
Shipments are sent only on Tuesday and Wednesday. Select a two week window of when you would like to take delivery (Wednesday or Thursday).
Note: Embryos sent will be bleached and provided in embryo medium + methylene blue [an antifungal]. Upon arrival, the embryos will be ~48 hours post-fertilization (hpf).

There is a maximum of 10 pairs of adult zebrafish per order (regardless of strain). Embryos are available in multiples of 100.
Cost for a pair of zebrafish
Quantity is per 100 embryos. Other zebrafish lines may be available with a Material Transfer Agreement (MTA) with the originating lab. Only select this option after consulting with the ZBR.
This is a cost per tank for one month housed at ZBR
The cost of evaluating for bioactivity potential. This includes two rounds of testing: 1 - dose range finding, 2 - definitive testing [also sold a la carte]
This assay evaluates the chemical to establish a maximum tolerable dose
This assay includes 7 concentration testing to calculate an LD50 and maximal non-lethal concentration. The measurements provided are developmental toxicity endpoints and 2 behavior assays.
Evaluation for narcotic potential. The testing includes two rounds of testing: 1st round with 12 concentration (n=8) to determine maximum tolerable dose, and the 2nd round to conduct 24 concentration testing (n=4)).
Conducting behavior assays on adult zebrafish. This for one of the following assays: free swim, predator, shoaling, and learning and memory.
