  • 1. Patients will be given full information about the cost of their dental procedure(s) before any treatment is undertaken.

    2. The patient is responsible for the payment of all services rendered on their behalf and on the behalf of their dependents. Payment is due at the time of service.

    3. In general, we do not provide quotations for dental treatments over the phone or without first examining the patient. However, we will advise the patient of the cost of a consultation with our dentist.

    4.If the patient’s private health fund does not process a claim, the patient must pay the full amount of our fees immediately following the treatment.

    5. If a loyalty bonus has been offered (through the HICAPS terminal) by your private health fund, we will ask you if you wish to use it at your visit with us.

    6. The Treatment Plan we provide for a diagnosed treatment is an estimate only. In some cases, the proposed treatment may change from the initial Treatment Plan; in which case, the costs will also change. We will advise you if this is likely to occur.

    7. Prices on Treatment Plans are only valid for 60 days.  After this time prices may increase.

    9.  If you require a Payment Plan for your treatment, this must be organised 7 days prior to treatment commencing to ensure approval is obtained. We are unable to commence your dental treatment until the approval has been processed. We offer payment plans of up to 18 months through HUMM https://www.shophumm.com/au/how-it-works/ 

    10. We have a HICAPS machine on the premises so that you can process your health fund claims on the day of your treatment. We also accept EFTPOS, American Express, Visa, and MasterCard.

    11. Prior to treatment for Orthodontics, CERECs, Implants, Crowns, Oral Appliances or General Anaesthetic work we will ask you to pay a deposit towards the treatment. 

    12. Appointment Cancellation Policy: Patients are required to provide a minimum of 48 hours’ notice should they need to cancel or alter a scheduled appointment for any reason. Failure to provide adequate notice will result in a $100 cancellation fee. Dental appointments are in high demand, and timely notice allows us to offer the appointment to another patient requiring urgent dental care.     14. Cancellation and Rescheduling  for long distance or Interstate and Overseas Patients:

    We understand that many of our valued patients travel long distances, or from interstate or overseas to receive Holistic Dental Care from Smile In Style. While we make every effort to honour scheduled appointments, there may be occasional unforeseen circumstances, such as staff illness, family emergencies, or power outages that could lead to the cancellation or rescheduling of your dental appointment.

    Please be advised that we are unable to reimburse any costs associated with travel or accommodation (including flights, hotel stays, or other travel expenses) in the event of a cancellation, whether the cancellation is due to circumstances beyond our control or otherwise.

    We strongly recommend that you consider travel insurance/flexible flights to cover potential costs in the case of any unforeseen changes to your appointment.
