We're going to the Tuckaseegee river to continue our white water paddling progression. We'll work on all the essentials like eddy turns and peel outs, plus ferrying and maybe even some surfing! Really fun day out on the river building exciting skills!

We'll be running a section of the Catawba River near Morganton. This is the entry towards future white water trips. Getting out on the river is more dynamic and will hone paddle strokes and overall skills

We'll continue our canoeing skills, focusing on paddle strokes and creating solid boaters that know how to steer and control their boat. Plus a lot of fun and swimming as well!

We'll be out on Lake James canoeing. So many great skills to learn and practice. The goal is to head out on a mini expedition up the coast exploring as we go. There's some interesting spots to check out and swim off our flotilla of boats! This is a great opportunity to get those steering strokes down and become proficient boaters!

A wonderful opportunity to develop paddling skills - paddle strokes, steering a boat, rescue practice and travelling as a group. Plus exploring as we go and having fun and swimming!

This is both both a hiking and snorkeling adventure. The girls will practice navigation skills with a compass and map as they hike to the perfect spot along Mills River. If we're quiet we may find a hellbender! It's a great day on both the trail and water . It's also a wonderful time to deepen Sapling friendships, play, laugh and learn

The Oaks will get to put into practice everything they have been learning - setting up their tents together, cooking fun meals, hiking and navigating and working on expedition skills for future trips. Plus a lot of fun and play in these mountains!

An exciting adventure up through these dramatic mountains. Getting to spots with epic views and navigation our way forward. This is the perfect wilderness immersion trip up in the  mountains!

Heading up to our secret climbing crag for the weekend! We set up our camp in a beautiful pine forest and then head on to climb! It's always awesome to get on real rock and help support and belay each other. 

The Saplings will be out on real rock at the perfect crag at Cove Creek. Wonderful opportunity for these climbers and a beautiful day out in the woods, working together and supporting each other climbing!

Heading up to our secret climbing site for the weekend! Camping in a beautiful pine forest and then climbing and exploring! Being on real rock is so cool and these girls will be belaying, supporting and encouraging  each other. This is a magical weekend!

Get back into the swing of backpacking, updating systems and skills in preparation for a potential Sierra trip in the summer. The group will plan the location and details for this adventure. 

The Aspens will be volunteering for Waypoint Adventure. A nonprofit that provides wilderness adventures for people with disabilities.

Aspens will help deliver a climbing day for Waypoint participants at Chimney Rock State Park. They will be responsible for everything from opening circle to belaying, supporting participants to closing circle and much more. It should be an amazing and incredibly impactful experience.
