MANUSCRIPT AND RAW DATA FILES SUBMISSION:
The validation report should be formatted into a manuscript. A manuscript provides an orderly approach to reviewing your data. It also makes it easier for your method to enter into the publication process if your method is adopted or approved.
The method manuscript must be formatted according to AOAC format in MS Word format (.doc or .docx). No other format will be accepted. The template and guidance for this information is below. If the method is purported to meet a standard method performance requirements (SMPRs) and/or validation guidance, then be sure to clearly indicate how the method meet the requirements and/or validation guidance.
This information will be reviewed by members of the Committee on Statistics and an assigned AOAC Expert Review Panel. Therefore, this section is asking for both a formatted manuscript submission and raw data files submission.
Method authors may also include an introductory or overview presentation that provides an overview of the method, a summary of the validation study design, summary of the study results and a copy of any relevant Instructions for Use (IFU) documents.
