As experts in their respective fields, UK's librarians and archivists are subject specialists who can provide advice and materials tailored to your project and offer resources and guidance at any stage of the research process.
Undergraduate Students: Have a class assignment or project and not sure where to begin? A 30 minute consultation with a librarian can often save you hours of research time.

Faculty, Instructors, and Graduate Students: Beginning a new research project? We can help advanced scholars learn new skills and find the best resources and tools in their field.

Both individual and small group research appointments provide face-to-face time with a research librarian. For classes or groups larger than three people, please request an instruction session.

You can also make an appointment with a specific Subject Specialist to discuss in-depth research questions. If you have not been contacted by a librarian after two business days, please contact refdesk@uky.edu.
