The Stensrud Family Top of The Rock Application Form
The Stensrud Family Top of The Rock (SFTOTR) committee meets every September, November, January, March and May to review applications. The submission deadline for consideration of an application is two weeks before a meeting date. Please check the date of your event and the submission date carefully so your request can be considered in time. Tickets for sporting events like Roughrider games or concerts at SaskTel Centre are typical requests that have been funded. More elaborate applications the committee has approved include trips to Nashville, Hawaii, or an Alaskan cruise. Due to numerous applications, it is important to note that the average lifetime value of funds distributed is $2000 per applicant.

The Foundation does not provide 100% of the funds for an event, trip or other requests. However, it will augment the funds provided by the applicant(s). The Stensrud Family Top of The Rock Foundation is proud to grant requests for persons with intellectual disabilities for once-in-a-lifetime dreams to be fulfilled. Only complete applications will be accepted. More applications are submitted than can be approved. Failure to answer questions accurately and thoroughly may result in the rejection of your application.

Financial Information

Remember to provide all costs in Canadian dollars. Applicant contributions are set at a minimum of 5% (exceptions may be made). By contributing greater than 5% of the total cost, SFTOTR can provide more funding to more applicants. Applicant contributions play a significant role in the approval process. If required, be sure to pay attention to travel necessities (such as passports, travel insurance, currency exchange rates, etc.). Average funding is a lifetime value of $2,000 per applicant. If you are uncertain if the applicant has received funding previously or the amount, please contact Cosmo for this information. **Be prepared to provide additional detailed information for all expenses.**
