If you are interested to present your film to the 27th edition of Queersicht Film Festival, please fill out this submission form with a preview copy of your film until May 31, 2023. The content of the film must be relevant to LGBTIQA+ people. There is no entry fee. The organizing commitee of  the festival will decide which productions are selected for and the film-makers whose work has been accepted will be notified in August 2023.

Wenn Sie sich für das Festival 2023 bewerben wollen, füllen Sie dieses Formular aus und senden Sie es uns zusammen mit dem Link einer Sichtungskopie bis 31. Mai 2023 zu. Der Film muss im queeren (LGBTIQA+) Kontext stehen. Wir erheben keine Anmeldegebühr. Die Festivalorganisation trifft nach der Visionierung die Auswahl. Über die Selektion werden Sie zirka Mitte August 2023 informiert.

TEILNAHMEBEDINGUNGEN

1. ALLGEMEINES
Filme können bis zum 31.05.2023 eingereicht werden. Das Anmelde-Formular mit allen notwendigen Unterlagen sowie die Ansichtskopie müssen bis zu diesem Datum in Bern eintreffen.

2. VERSANDART
Nationaler oder internationaler Versand: per Post oder Kurier. Alle Sendungen aus Nicht-EU-Ländern müssen den Aufdruck „no commercial value for cultural purposes only" tragen. Vorführkopie aus Nicht-EU-Ländern muss eine "Pro Forma-Rechnung" mit einer Wertangabe von max. USD 50.00 (insgesamt!) beigelegt sein.

3. VERSANDKOSTEN
Die Kosten für den Versand nach Bern von Sichtungs- und Vorführkopien übernimmt der Einsender. Die Kosten für den Rück- oder Weiterversand übernimmt das Festival.

4. FILMVERSAND
Die Vorführkopie erreicht uns von folgendem Verleih / Festival. Deadline: 15. Oktober 2023.
Die Vorführkopie wird nach Beendigung des Festivals so schnell wie möglich zurückgesandt.
Sichtungskopien bleiben im Archiv des Queersicht Festivals und werden nicht zurückgeschickt, ausser wenn der Sichtungskopie bei der Einsendung € 10.00 beigelegt wurden.

5. VERSICHERUNG
Hin- und Rücktransport erfolgt auf Gefahr des Einsenders. Es muss garantiert sein, dass eine Vorführkopie während des Festivals verfügbar ist.

CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION

1. GENERAL INFORMATION
Films can be submitted until May 31, 2023. The submission form with all necessary documents and the preview copy must arrive in Bern until that deadline.

2. DISPATCH
Dispatch inside Switzerland or from abroad: By mail or courier. All deliveries from outside the European Union must be marked with the phrase "No commercial value – For cultural purposes only". With screening copies from countries outside the European Union, please include a "pro forma invoice" with a print value of less than USD 50.00 in total.

3. DISPATCH COSTS
The applicant is responsible for the costs of sending the preview and screening copies to the festival. The festival covers the costs of returning/forwarding by air freight.

4. FILM DISPATCH
The screening copy will have to be sent to us from the distributor, no later than Oct 15, 2023.
All screening copy will be sent back to the producer/distributor, or sent to another screening address after the festival.
Physical preview copies will not be returned, but stored in the Queersicht archive, unless a return fee of USD 20.00 was enclosed with the preview copy.

5. INSURANCE
The festival cannot be held responsible for damages occurring during transport of screening prints or other materials - It is your responsibility to ensure the availability of a screening copy during the festival.
