  • Adjustments required for a disability or long-term health condition

If you already have adjustments and are not looking for any changes to be made, you do not need to complete this section again.

  • Please note, if evacuation support needs are identified in the information you provide, we will notify the Health & Safety Team, who will be in touch to discuss an appropriate evacuation plan with you.

  • Please refer to the Animals on University Campus Policy for definitions and further information.

  • UK students
Personal care is not provided by the university. It is the student’s home Social Services department that assesses, provide or fund any necessary personal care support required. This is the local authority where students are ‘ordinarily resident’ or from where they have had previous support.

You can search for your Social Services department on the following website: https://www.gov.uk/apply-needs-assessment-social-services

It can take a long time to arrange personal care support so we recommend that students contact their Social Services department as soon as they’ve been made an offer to study at university. In some instances, delays in applying for personal care support may result in a student being required to defer their study to the next academic year, until the correct level of personal care support can be provided by your local authority.

    International students

Unfortunately, there is no funding available for non-UK students to assist with personal care support.

Personal care support can be expensive in the UK so international students are advised to ensure that that sufficient funding is in place before arriving at Swansea University.

  • Please refer to the Parking university webpages for full information, criteria and application form for parking permits.
