What are the different report categories?
Inappropriate voice language in-game, which can be heard in the demo.
Inappropriate text language in-game, which can be seen in the demo. Note that pre-muted players' text chat is not visible in the demo. Please take a screenshot.
Throwing, trolling, giving information to opponent team in text chat (ghosting), friendly fire, teamflashing, staying afk, leaving match, etc. Anything that can be seen as damaging the experience for other players.
Account sharing or multiple accounts. It's also categorized as smurfing, if a player is obviously not playing the right rank.
Elo abusing doesn't require specific ranks. Elo abusing appear, when we see a pattern of playing with smurfs or low level accounts, to gain an unfair advantage. It's a bit abstract and is an overall assessment. Also includes any method of boosting, illegitimately gaining ladder points or abusing the ladder system in any way.
Also known as hacking, i.e. using third party software.
Anything else that doesn't fit in other categories. Could be inappropriate name/avatar, anything said or done DM or club chat, ban evasion, harassment or unsportsmanlike conduct.
Can I report more than one player at a time in one report?
Yes. Though we prefer you divide them into one player per report, it is possible. Simply write the players' names separated by a comma.
Can I report a player from the opponent team to you?
Yes, you can, but our options are limited. We can ban them from our club, and report them ourselves to the faceit staff team. But we will take action if necessary. Also note, even if you're breaking the rules against the opponent team, an opponent player can also report you to us, which will also be sanctioned.
How much time can pass before I can no longer report a player?
Unlimited. Though we prefer you'd report them as soon as possible after the incident happened. Note that demo files are usually deleted after 4-5 month.
