Supervisor – Egyptian Theatre
The Egyptian Theatre opened in 1922. It is an early example of a lavish movie palace and is noted as having been the site of the first-ever Hollywood film premiere. This theatre is a legendary, historic landmark with seating for over 500 guests. The Egyptian Theatre will be re-opening and providing an exceptional moviegoing and event experience, while preserving the status as a cultural center for film appreciation and preservation.
The supervisor is a leader who sets a positive professional example for all team members and provides excellent guest service. This person must be able to motivate, delegate and coach staff. To accomplish this, the supervisor must have good communication skills, high standards, integrity, time management, follow through, attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
General Duties & Responsibilities
● Respond to guest comments and criticism in a positive manner, viewing such opportunities to build guest loyalty.
● Assist in creating an environment that consistently provides high levels of service to our guests.
● Monitor sales activities to ensure that our guests receive excellent service and quality goods.
● Resolve guest concerns regarding service, films, concession products, condition of facility, their overall experience and more.
● Perform opening and closing procedures. Oversee the daily operations of the theatre. Handle tasks such as counting money, making deposits, balancing cash drawers and performing nightly and weekly inventories.
● Proficient in all the functions of the POS system.
● Train staff in all aspects of company policies and procedures.
● Management of marketing materials.
● Enforce safety, health, and security policies and procedures.
● Handle floor operations such as allocating resources effectively, recognizing and anticipating problems, and reacting quickly to provide solutions.
● Complete reports accurately and in a timely manner.
● Delegate projects and assignments to others, and follow up to insure accurate and timely completion.
● Ability to adapt to changes and take on new responsibilities with a positive attitude.
Screenings, Red Carpet Events, Receptions Responsibilities
● Assist in the preparation for all types of events.
● Supervise all staff during events (ticketing, security, ushers, caterers, backstage, green room, etc.).
● Delegate effectively to ensure the entire operation is running smoothly while being accessible during event to resolve issues that might arise.
● Ensure outstanding on-screen presentation.
Requirements
● Must possess excellent communication skills.
● Must be a team player and have good leadership skills.
● Must have reliable transportation.
● Hours to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
● Minimum 1 or more years in customer service.
● Minimum 3 or more months in a team leadership role

Hourly Pay Range
$20.00 - $22.00 Per Hour
