    at the 2024 NADSA National Conference

     The NADSA Conference Committee is seeking proposals for presentations in the following Learning Tracks:

    1. Serving ADS Clients, Their Caregivers, and Supporting ADS Staff
    2. Business Development and ADS Center Growth
    3. Compliance, Policy, and Social Issues Facing ADS Centers

    All proposals must be submitted electronically by January 31, 2024

    The average session length is 60 minutes, and speakers are requested to allow a brief time for Q&A. Note: Four of the September 18th sessions are Pre-conference sessions which are three hours in length with a 15-minute break. There also will be multiple sessions on September 18th that will be 60 minutes in length including Q&A.

    General Information for Speakers

    NADSA is unable to provide airfare, hotel costs, or an honorarium for presenters. Presenters are required to pay the appropriate registration fee for speakers and all presenters must be current NADSA Members. All NADSA presenters are required to identify/resolve in writing any/all potential conflicts of interest or commercial support that they have. All presentations, workshops and roundtable discussions must be educational in nature and not direct sales pitches for products or services.

    All proposals must be submitted by January 31, 2024 through NADSA’s online platform: https://form.jotform.com/232964942355162.

    Proposals received after January 31, 2024 will be considered on a space-available basis only. The 2024 NADSA Conference Task Force will review all proposals and make the selection of speakers and topics based on the following criteria: overall quality and originality; continuing education applicability and appropriateness to this program. All who have submitted proposals that are accepted will be notified by email no later than February 28, 2024.

    All presenters are expected to submit copies of their presentations in PDF format by August 2, 2024. Presenters are responsible for bringing their own laptop and handouts to the conference. If your laptop does not have an HDMI port, you will need to bring an adapter to connect with the projector for your session.

  •  PROPOSAL SUBMISSION DEADLINE: January 31, 2024
    To be considered, proposals must include ALL requested information.

    REGISTRATION DEADLINE FEES

    Presenter registration is a requirement to present at the conference. All Presenters MUST register by the Early Bird Registration deadline to avoid paying higher registration fees. (Presenters selected for the conference will be notified well in advance of registration.)

    LEAD PRESENTERS’ RESPONSIBILITIES*

    • Provide complete information for up to three (3) proposed presenters per session. Incomplete proposals will not be considered.
    • Review Submission Guidelines with each presenter prior to proposal submission.
    • Provide a Bio for each proposed presenter.
    • Communicate the accept/decline status of the proposal to all additional presenters.
    • Allow NADSA to list your contact information on printed, electronic, and online materials.
    • All Presenters must register for the conference.
  • SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

    All submitters are required to provide the following information:

    • Main Presenter Contact Information Main Presenter Bio (75 words max)
    • Additional Presenter(s) Contact Information (3 additional max)
    • Additional Presenter(s) Bio(s) (75 words max, per Bio)
    • Session Title (NADSA may edit for clarity/space)
    • Three (3) Learning Objectives (required for CEU approval)
    • Session Description (100 words max, NADSA may edit for clarity/space)
    • Biographies must be included to be considered.

    SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

    To submit a session proposal, please follow these submission guidelines:

    • All EDUCATION sessions will be 60 minutes (no mid-session break); please allow time for a brief Q&A. Note: September 18th sessions are Pre-conference sessions which are three hours in length with a 15-minute break. There also will be multiple sessions on September 18th that will be 60 minutes in length including Q&A.
    • All proposals must be educational in nature – session platform, audio-visual materials, or handout materials cannot be used to showcase, promote or sell business products/services.
    • There is no fee to submit a proposal, but you must be a current NADSA member to present at the conference.
    • Presentations should focus on current or emerging issues, challenges, best practices, or other key areas of interest to Adult Day Services.
    • Presenters should have professional experience or areas of expertise relevant to involvement in this conference.

    PROPOSAL STATUS NOTIFICATION: Presenters are scheduled to be notified by February 28, 2024.

    Acceptance may be contingent upon your willingness to combine elements of your proposal with another presenter/proposal. Please hold the conference dates of September 18-20, 2024 open until notified of your proposal status.
