We are delighted that we have coastal boats available for your use as we introduce the Coastal Boats and the the Beach Sprint event to our community.

Cost: free

Please follow the guidelines below to boats are maintained in proper working condition.
- All users must be registered with a club or school or have a Come and try Coastal Membership if not with a school or club (SLSSA Membership).
- All athletes under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a coach.
- Boats must be washed down after use.
- Boats can be taken to the ocean only on a Saturday or Sunday at a patrolled beach.
- Craft cannot be used within the red and yellow flags, however it is recommended to be in the vicinity of the patrol.
- Any damage to the craft needs to be reported asap.

These boats are made for ocean use!

However, as part of our risk management, they cannot be used without appropriate water safety accompanying any intended use in the ocean.

This means:
- Water safety via volunteer lifesavers
- Water safety provided via club boat
- Water safety organised via SLSSA lifeguards
