Guilford Creek Week will take place during June 1-8th. Please register below for the events hosted by the City of Greensboro.
Creek Week Events:
- Stream Cleanup at Greentree Park (June 4, 2 – 4 pm): Free. For ages 10 and up. Grab a friend and join Water Resources for a Community Clean-a-Creek Cleanup! Buckets, trash bags, gloves, vests, and grabbers will be provided. Please wear closed-toed shoes and bring rubber boots or waders if you have them.
- Drain Marker Pop-up at Greenhaven Park (June 6, 9 - 11 am): Free. For ages 10 and up. Want to help our aquatic ecosystems? Grab a friend and join Water Resources to help adhere drain markers to storm drains at Greenhaven Park. Markers serve as a reminder that “only rain should go down the drain” as storm drains in the City of Greensboro lead to our lakes and streams. All supplies will be provided. Please wear closed-toed shoes.
