'Tacoma' occupies the traditional homeland of the Puyallup and Nisqually Peoples, and lands of deep significance to other Coast Salish Peoples.
'Tacoma' Friends of Palestine stands in solidarity with the Palestinian People and Resistance as a part of a global movement for liberation from the systems of white supremacy, colonialism, and imperialism.
We recognize community as the foundation of the movement for liberation and seek to empower our community through education and mutual aid. This is the motivation behind our weekly vigil where we invite members of the community to honor our martyrs with a candle lit vigil, and to learn more about connecting with the movement to liberate Palestine.
