Thank you for your interest in performing at Pioneer Park! The T.I.P.S. program, founded by Fairbanks Arts in partnership with FNSB Parks & Recreation, is designed to provide local, independent performers with an opportunity to play for tips in the Park while increasing engagement with Park visitors.
Please note that this registration form will be reviewed by a Fairbanks Arts staff member. You are not registered for the T.I.P.S. program until you have received an approved registration email from a staff member, and you have picked up your 2026 T.I.P.S. badge and performer packet from the Fairbanks Arts office.
Pioneer Park is a family-oriented attraction, and we expect all performers to provide family-oriented entertainment. If we receive any complaints about swearing or illicit material in your music or participation in any activity that violates Park Rules or the law, your participation in the program will be revoked.
AFTER YOU RECEIVE REGISTRATION APPROVAL
Before or on the day of your first performance, you must report to the Fairbanks Arts office (1st floor of the Alaska Centennial Center for the Arts building) to pick up your performer badge, which identifies you as a participant in the program. Please pick up your badge during our office hours: Monday through Friday, 12-6 p.m. Keep this badge—you are required to wear it at all times while performing in the park. At this time, you will also receive a map of available performance spaces within the Park. Of these spaces, please note that the Gazebo is available for rent through the Park Office; T.I.P.S. performers do NOT need to rent the Gazebo to perform, but if someone arrives who has rented the space, we ask that you courteously relocate to another spot.
In order to confirm your performances and ensure both Fairbanks Arts and Park staff are aware of your expected presence onsite with us, use this scheduling form to select any and all dates & times you would like to perform. We would like there to be as many performances as possible this summer, so please feel encouraged to schedule yourself as many busking opportunities as you reasonably expect to fulfill. If you need to cancel any scheduled performances, please email laura@fairbanksarts.org ASAP.
Additionally, please review the Park Reservation Calendar to ensure there is not a reservation prior to your arrival. If you encounter any issues with facilities, please urgently report all relevant information to Fairbanks Arts staff.
Any T.I.P.S. performers who need access to electricity may plug their equipment into the Gazebo Stage. However, you are required to keep the volume to a reasonable level. Pioneer Park Staff reserve the right to ask you to turn down your volume if they feel it is merited.
