Thanks for your interest in applying for our Neat Streets grant fund, offered in partnership with McDonald's.
Over the next 12 months, we have five grants of £10,000 to support organisations to tackle litter in their area, using the replicable campaigns featured on the Neat Streets litter toolkit.
We anticipate runnning quarterly application and selected 1 - 2 projects quarter.
To unlock the funding, we require organisations to commit £5,000 towards external costs too, in effect creating a budget of £15,000 toward direct external costs.
To support the grant fund recipients, Hubbub will also provide two days of project management time, and two days of design time each project.
The funding is primarily aimed at local authorities. Applications can be submitted in partnership, for example local authority, community litter picking group and local businesses.
It’s important to review and fully understand the following documents and pages before submitting an application:
- Neat Streets site - please read and review the website to familiarise yourself with our approach to tackling litter and improving recycling, including reading case studies.
- Select which of the replicable campaigns you wish to use.
- Grant fund Page, with criteria and timeline
- FAQS
- Terms and conditions
The application deadline for the first round of applications is 20th September 2024 - extended from 13th September 2024.
In addition to the application, you are also welcome to submit an optional presentation, no more than 10 slides.
Projects that best meet the criteria will be shortlisted and then reviewed by a panel made up of representatives from Hubbub and McDonald's.
We will notify applicants of the result of their application by middle of October 2024 or sooner.
