What We Are Looking For: We are looking for the perfect voice for Agnes: A Childhood Betrayed and Reclaimed. The ideal narrator has a female sounding voice, voice-aged 40s - 50s. She has an Australian accent that touches on British (the main character lived in London for many years). This is a character that has a blend of energy, curiosity, great inner strength, but also vulnerability. The narration moves between 3rd and 1st person and the prose runs swiftly and energetically.

The book's blurb reads: "After a 30-year absence Agnes is returning to Australia, the country of her birth, at the request of her aging, narcissistic mother. Agnes is comprised of approximately 110,000 words. Voice performers are paid according to each Finished Listening Hour (there are approximately 10,000 words per 'listening hour'.) An administration fee is also paid to voice performers.
As the voice performer your name will be in the credits (audio) and included on Audible and other sales platforms.
