All work, especially charcoal and graphite, need to be completely spray fixed (may require up to 6 coats) and the entire back wiped down so that there is no residue of any kind that can transfer to the walls.
Alumni and Faculty:
All work must be framed (except museum wrapped canvas with no side staples) and ready to hang with a wire.
The screw eyes should be placed as close to the top as possible. (NOT 1/3) from the top of the frame. Hanging clip (1 and 1/2 in height) and wire must not be visible from the top when hung. Make the wire taught.
No clip-on frames or sawtooth hangers. All mats and frames must be clean and sturdy.
