  • Camp Fire Inland Northwest's Camps are looking for enthusiastic, energetic, and driven teens hoping to gain experience by working in a camp setting. If this describes YOU, then please fill out this application.

  • Recommendations

    THREE (3) recommendations must be submitted to complete your application and make you eligible for this leadership opportunity. The person you choose to submit your recommendation must be an ADULT and NOT a family member. We recommend teachers, coaches, youth program directors, and volunteer or other youth program coordinators.

  • Behavior Expectations

  • Camp Fire Camps believe in the development of all youth. Teen Leadership positions are a privilege, and we expect you to meet all of the following behavior expectations: 

    1. Be patient and understanding with campers. Be free with encouragement and positive affirmations.
    2. Treat all campers and staff with respect and fairness, avoiding favorites. Maintain appropriate conversations, attire and behavior at all times.
    3. Discuss group issues with the counselor. Accept and offer suggestions.
    4. Help campers with activities. Model always, participate when appropriate.
    5. Be reliable, punctual and give a week's notice if cancellation is necessary.
    6. If you ride the bus/boat, assist with the transportation program.
    7. "Unplug" when at camp. Any misuse of technology while at camp will result in dismissal.
    8. If you do not meet expectations, you will be counseled by the Camp Director and, if necessary, your parent/guardian. If you continue to not meet these expectations, you may be dismissed from the program.
  • Statements of Understanding

  • I understand that placement in a Camp Fire Camps Teen Leadership program depends on the need for those positions in a session. If there is not a lot of need for those positions during a certain session, I may not be placed in that session.

    I have discussed my application and the Behavior Expectations with my parent/guardian and agree to follow all of the program rules and expectations that are set by the Camp Director.

    I understand that I will not be considered for a leadership opportunity if my application is not complete. A complete application contains the following items:

    • All questions on this online application are answered in full and this form is submitted to Camp Fire Inland Northwest.
    • Three (3) recommendations have been submitted on my behalf.
    • Full participation in any necessary training sessions.

    If it is not possible for me to be present at the session(s) for which I have been placed, I will notify the Camp Fire office at least one week prior to the scheduled session so that my place may be filled.
