SMS25 Student Application

Thank you for your interest in attending the 2025 Steiger Missions School (SMS25) in Krögis, Germany. Session 1 will take place from June 6th to July 25th, 2025. Session 2 will take place August 15th to October 3rd, 2025.

The SMS25 application can be completed online. You have the option to save your progress (see the "save" button in the bottom right corner). Once saved, you will receive an email with a link that will allow you to return to your partially-completed application.

Upon completion of the application, click "submit" and make sure that you receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive a confirmation email, then the form was not submitted properly.

Steiger is a worldwide missions organization that is called to reach and disciple the Global Youth Culture. The Global Youth Culture is made up of young people between the ages of 17-35, who are connected by globalization and often have negative ideas of who Jesus is and what it means to follow Him. They believe the Church to be irrelevant to their day-to-day life, a dead, empty tradition of the past. This demographic represents one of the largest unreached people groups in the world.

Steiger uses art, music, and other creative means to present Jesus in a clear and relevant way, and establishes a long-term presence in urban centers through ongoing outreach, discipleship, and local church partnership.

Finances

School Fee: €2500

To be paid by bank transfer or in cash (Euros).

This fee covers the cost of food, accomodation, and tuition. It does NOT include any books, writing materials, personal hygiene items, etc. that you may need.

Payment

You can transfer money by the beginning of the school, or pay in cash (Euros) when you arrive.

Fees paid by bank transfer should go to the account listed below. Checks will NOT be accepted. Be sure to calculate and include all bank transfer fees, to guarantee that the full amount required arrives in Steiger's account.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF FINANCIAL & OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

This school aims to prepare you specifically for what we in Steiger are called to, which is reaching and discipling the global youth culture. We are looking for people who are ready to be sent out to reach this demographic and who have counted the cost of what that means. On our part, we will provide a unique and intense experience through which you can pursue God and His calling for your life while becoming familiar with Steiger's DNA, values, and vision. What we require from you is a serious commitment to the school - giving it your full focus and effort. With this in mind, we ask all applicants to sign the following covenant:

● If I am accepted into the Steiger Missions School, I will abide by the spirit, rules, and schedule of this school, participating in and being on time for all meetings and activities.

● I accept the policy of the internet, media, and alcohol fast during the whole period of the school (days off included), so as to participate in the contemplative atmosphere proposed and to fully focus during this time. *

● I willingly submit to the leadership in place at the school.

● I commit to participate in the daily chores, work projects, and outreaches.

● I will not plan other trips or commitments during the period of the school.

● I will pay my school fee in full, either via bank transfer before my arrival at the school, or in cash (Euros) upon my arrival.

● Steiger is not liable for any damages, accidents, losses, delays, or other damaging incidents that occur to me or my property or by me during the duration of the school.

● I release Steiger and their volunteers from any responsibility in case of injury, damage, or loss to me or my possessions that may take place during an activity organized by Steiger.

● I will allow Steiger to obtain any medical assistance or treatment deemed necessary by a qualified medical practitioner, in the event that I am incapacitated.

● I will pay for any damages or costs that are incurred or for any medical treatment that may be necessary during my time at the school.

● I will obtain medical insurance for the duration of my stay in Germany.

● I certify that all information in this application is complete and accurate.

● I hereby authorize the collection, processing, and use of the personal data I have provided in this application, for the purposes indicated by Steiger International.

* This fast means no use/viewing of media, films, TV, or internet during the SMS. You will be able to access the internet for 1 hour weekly to contact family and friends. Please inform your family and contacts of this limitation before coming, and make all necessary arrangements regarding its potential impact on any professional or educational commitments.
