We’re so glad you’re interested in applying for the 2025 Nashville Chapter of Charms, Inc. Scholarship!
Charms, Inc. is a vibrant national social, civic, and cultural organization founded in 1952 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania by Charm Lavera Edward Hord. What started as a group of women coming together to share life’s moments and uplift their community has grown into a lasting legacy. Today, 73 years later, Charms, Inc. remains a strong presence in communities across the country. Our organization was built by real, strong women for real, strong women.
The Nashville Chapter of Charms, Inc. was proudly established on June 25, 2020, as the first and only chartered chapter in Tennessee. We are honored to continue the tradition of our national motto: “Smile, help your fellow man, and aspire to greater things.” One of the ways we live out this mission is by providing financial support to deserving current and future collegiate students in pursuit of their post-secondary scholastic endeavors by offering the Nashville Chapter of Charms, Inc.
