  • Helpful Class Notes

Jackpot classes are for the first and second place winners in the previous associated classes which is why they are not listed on this registration form.  There is no additional fee to join the jackpot classes.

Generally speaking, Saturday is for western disciplines and Sunday is for english disciplines.  However, some classes are rider's choice of discipline.  These include classes 1, 5, 8, 38-47, 53-57, 61-62, 65, 80, 92-93, 108-110.

Bitless bridles are welcome and snaffle bits are allowed on horses of all ages.  Show attire is optional.  No stallion may be shown by any person under 18 years of age.  All persons mounted must have a liability release on file with the show office prior to being mounted.

For children who are only competing in a Classic Leadline class (8, 65), there is no office fee.

For those competing in class 40 Open Lead Your Parent/Sibling Obstacle Race, register under the person doing the leading.  This ensures no additional office fee will be assessed.  The rider needs to have a completed liability release form on file with the office.  Additional forms can be emailed if requested by email or one can be picked up at the event.

For class 41 Open Pairs Relay, riders may enter this class more than once but they must choose different partners for each "run".  This class receives double ribbons.  Each rider must be registered for the class.  Each team is made of two riders and one horse.  The first rider runs the pattern and once they cross the finish line they dismount and the second rider mounts and runs the pattern.  This is a timed event.

For the purposes of this event, "Novice" means that the horse/rider combination had never taken a first place in the event previously at any event.

"Aging Gracefully" applies to all equines that are at least twenty years of age.
