What do you mean by a "camping retreat"? We mean real camping, not glamping. This is a true outdoor experience in a secluded wooded area with good cell service but no WiFi.
Wildlife & Safety: The site is treated for mosquitoes and ticks, and while there are wild animals like deer, squirrels, and raccoons, they generally keep their distance. We take care to lock up food and manage trash properly. There are no bears in the area.
We provide neem and peppermint spray for additional bug spray in the evening.
This retreat is about reconnecting with nature in a raw, simple, and intentional way.
Is there a bathroom and shower? Yes. There are three proper restrooms on the campsite for us to use. Additionally, there are two beautiful outdoor shower stalls with warm water.
What are the sleeping arrangements? We sleep in tents (2 per tent) on twin-size air mattresses, dressed with cotton sheets, a blanket, and two pillows. The tents are spacious and designed for comfort, providing a cozy and restful sleeping experience.
Is food included? Yes, of course! Each day we will enjoy a plant based breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Eating plant base foods will allow us to be in vibrational resonance with the nature around us. We have also partnered with a local juicery to provide fresh juices throughout the weekend. There are coolers with bottled water as well.
Is this a safe space to be naked in? Yes, while physical nudity isn’t required, but it isn’t shunned either. Some women choose to undress, to free bleed, to move as they are. The space is private, and for many, it’s an opportunity to embody the untamed nature of the feminine, in whatever way feels right.
Is there a place for us to go swimming? Yes, we will have access to a private water front, with paddle boards, kayaks, and floats. Please bring SWIM SHOES!
What happens if it rains during the retreat? While we love the idea of embracing the rain, we value comfort and safety even more. We monitor the weather closely leading up to the retreat. If heavy rain is highly likely, we will do one of two things: Reschedule the retreat to a later date, or Move to an Airbnb for the duration of the retreat.
