Performer Registration for our Age Friendly Music Festival

Thursday 1st of October 10.30am to 2pm at Pudsey Civic Hall 2026
We are looking for performers for our main stage. The festival will offer live music, food and stalls and be free to attend. It will be well advertised across the city and promoted to the local media

The main requirement is that performers, groups or bands have someone aged 50+ in the line up. We welcome intergenerational groups as well as groups who are all 50+. We want to see varying music genres, DJ's, dancers, singers and poets to represent the diversity of the city. From burlesque to bhangra, punk to reggae, opera to brass bands.

Pudsey Civic Hall has a very large stage and lighting rig so this will be a spectacular opportunity to share and celebrate everyone's talents.

We are looking at performances which range from 5 to 20 minutes. This is very much dependant on the act and can be discussed. How long would you want to perform?
Do you have your own equipment? EG, PA, instruments, vocal microphone. props etc? If not what do you require?

The event will also host a marketplace of stalls from artisans aged 50+, age friendly organisations who will be sharing opportunities, raising awareness, promoting healthy ageing and challenging ageism.
