    About the Instructor:

"From a young age, I have been captivated by ancient cultures and my more ""primitive"" ancestors, feeling a profound connection to these tribal traditions as if my DNA itself was calling me to explore them. This fascination blossomed around the age of 10, leading me to discover the enriching practices of karate, meditation, yoga, and running, and the instrument called a Bullroarer; which helped me find myself. As a teenager, I became increasingly entranced by the ancestral heritage woven through my family's history, eventually leading me to the drum.
The drum became a gateway for me to explore a variety of ancient instruments. My journey began with learning to play, which soon evolved into repairing and crafting these instruments, and ultimately teaching others. My teaching journey sparked when my oldest son, in pre-k, requested that I bring some drums for show and tell. What started as a handful of drums gradually expanded into large collections and comprehensive presentations as he grew older.
Now, I share my passion with broader audiences, teaching groups like Scouts and presenting at festivals and venues. My instrument education presentations and building workshops intertwine culture, traditional knowledge, and mythology, creating engaging experiences that celebrate our shared heritage. Each event I facilitate is uniquely crafted, reflecting the organic nature of learning and teaching. My commitment to exploring and sharing the history, techniques, and diverse cultures associated with indigenous instruments continues to evolve, ensuring that no two presentations are ever the same."
