  • Registration Tips:

    1.) Please make sure to use the email you have on file with Turning Point when you complete the form.

    2.) Please make sure to type your full first name and your full last name.  It you type only an initial, we may not be able to retreive your registration, which may result in removal of your registrations altogether.

    3.) You can sign up for multiple classes on one form.

    4.) If you are already signed up for a weekly, ongoing class, you do NOT need to register for that class each calendar period.

    I understand and acknowledge the following:

    1. Unless noted in the program brochure, classes are held via Zoom. Participants will receive a Zoom link or an in-person class reminder via email a day before the class.

    2. If the class you wish to register for includes the text "full: waitlisted," then you will be placed on the waitlist and will only be contacted if a spot opens up.

    3. If you wish to register for a class within 48 hours of the start date, you must contact Turning Point directly via email or phone to receive the zoom link or verify space for any in-person classes.  This includes if you sign up for a class after the start date.

    4. I understand that if I am already registered for an ongoing program, I do not need to re-register now or for future calendars.

    5. I understand I am only allowed to participate in ONE "Yoga in Chairs" class. This includes the following:

    • Yoga in Chairs (Mondays)
    • Yoga in Chairs (Thursdays)
    • Build Your Bones with Yoga (Wednesdays)

    Please contact Turning Point at turningpoint@kumc.edu if you would like to discuss alternative options.

    6. It’s important to know there is the possibility of injury while participating in any type of exercise. You should always consult your physician prior to increasing your level of physical activity. If you engage in any of these programs, you agree to do so at your own risk and are voluntarily participating in these activities and assume all risk of injury. We recommend turning your video camera on during exercise classes to improve safety.

    7. Turning Point KC SMS Consent:
    By providing your phone number, you consent to receive text messages from Turning Point KC about class reminders, updates, and administrative information. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out anytime by replying STOP, emailing turningpoint@kumc.edu

    The following classes are on a waitlist and the waitlist is closed at this time. Please contact Turning Point if you would like to discuss possible alternatives. We are working diligantly to be able to open the waitlist in the near future.
